Initially, I had intended to print a nice tee for jiayi but somehow failed terribly! =(-> ink didn't come off well -> overlaying more layers makes it worse -> ugly random tee
So I gave to to my mum instead and she actually like it. Strange.
Anyway, on that same day, I received my 1st cny red packet from my p3 tuition kid's grandmother and it was a nice $50 note when I least expect it! Woohoo! The evening ended lasted over a nice dinner with shuz and shopping for kx's present with lays & steven. ~ I'm luvin' my weekends!
Posted by Philothea` @ Sunday, January 25, 2009 | Last Monday, during USS lecture, we watched a documentary about the America media on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict which almost drove me to tears (I was holding back. haha) and it left me thinking and feeling disturbed. Anyway during service yesterday, the following worship song reminded me about the same issue...

Woot! I didn't know that lays/steven had rendered a coloured version of the January bulletin (:(please pardon the handwriting...I was really sleeping back then...couldn't keep up with the consistency...

She is on skype with her daddy now, out of the blue...listening to his rants, touring his office, counting his 15 fishes, receiving updates about his current salary (it actually increased during recession! ^_^) and everything she always wanted to know about him but has never bothered to ask...and it was good (:
Yuniza will be driving tmr! YAY! So she'll be giving philo and friends a lift to town and places tmr after school. double YAY! (❤yuniza)

Posted by Philothea` @ Monday, January 05, 2009 | Today is one of the rare occasions that Philo is motivated to update her blog. Hoho.
And today happened to be her 1st day of school, year 1 semester 2!
She was rather dreadful about this day but it's so inevitable.
Chronicles of a typical (or not so) back to school:
Woke up on time (thanks to roy & matt for their morning calls) but argh, the bus is constipated! It took longer than usual to make the usual loop to the bus stop...so Philo was late for class but was still on time given the 15mins buffer for attendance. Phew! ~
She met Phuong on the bus and was delighted to hear from her again (cos Phuong talks in a really funny and cute manner that never fails to make her laugh) Phuong spent her last 1 month in the States and brought back goodies to share ^_^

Yuniza got her share of accessories from Phuong too.
Yuniza visited Indonesian for a couple of days and brought home souvenirs too!

Christy returned to Indonesian over the holidays and bought gifts for the class too!

It seems like Philo is happy to be in such a warmth class. Hoho. After lunch, snapped a photo with her two fav classmates and her new 4D class lecturer, Kenneth. He's america with a japanese girlfriend. haha.
After 4D class, things kinda went downhill. Every monday, Philo will be having a long 3 hour break before her next lecture. She took refudge in ADM library with her classmates, had a talk with her previous 4D lecturer who made her cried (so embarrassing!), designed the CAC banner and fell asleep (almost drooling) before it was finally time to head down for pre-dinner and a very boring modedule 'Understanding Singapore Society' =(
Thankfully, it ended earlier and she managed to speed home/avoid the peak hour train crowd (many thanks to a classmate who can give her a lift home every now and then) :D
Somehow, when she cried in school today, she was seen by her classmates and she hoped she didn't scare them. Anyway, thank you Trixie!

Posted by Philothea` @ Thursday, January 01, 2009 | It's the 1st day of the year and Philo is feeling extremely lethargic now. Probably due to the irregular sleeping patterns but then again, who sleeps on new year eve? She got home this morning and slept till dinner time. She has been lazing around, watching scooby doo on channel 5. Not a fancy beginning for a new year but she will be going for her 1st jog in awhile to justify all the sinful eating of 2008! Hoho. And she's feeling (x) guilty for not having to accomplish her postchristmas-newyear cards and for a record, she only wrote no more than 5 cards in total this year. Yes, very pathetic, not motivated and always busy! :( She shall restore her card writing spirit before sch starts (seriously)!
